Mount Philo Partners is for small business entrepreneurs who could use an outside opinion, no strings attached. My expertise is in M&A as a private equity investor in middle market businesses and traditional search funds, but I’ve also been a board member of small and mid-sized companies.
What’s in it for me? I’m driven by learning and the satisfaction of a job well done. While my career is currently outside the small business world, I want to remain involved in the small business and ETA communities. I also make small minority investments in self-funded search acquisitions and similar situations, though this is nowhere near a prerequisite for us to work together.
I’m especially interested in developing partnerships and making investments with operators and owners in places where I have personal ties, including Vermont and northern New England, Colorado, and the Boston and DC metro areas – mostly so we can build a deeper relationship over shared experience.
